Mackenzie Thoma, LMT

Contact: mackenzie@renewinghands.com

Mackenzie is the owner and founder of Renewing Hands Massage.

Mackenzie graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage in 2018 after receiving a bachelors degree in clinical health studies (pre-physical therapy) from Ithaca College. This education provided a foundation for a unique perspective on the human body.

She uses her comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and massage therapy to provide an informed massage for her clients. During her sessions she practices mindfulness with each stroke and each breath. She moves slowly and intuitively, feeling for areas of increased tension and noticing the subtleties of how the body reacts to her touch.

In addition to standard medical care, she believes in the importance of a holistic approach to chronic pain, including mindfulness, meditation, yoga, lifestyle adjustments, self-care, and body awareness through touch. She enjoys teaching her clients about their bodies and how they can manage their symptoms.

Whether you would like to treat yourself to a relaxing massage, help alleviate anxiety and depression, address a specific area of discomfort, or experience massage for the first time, Mackenzie is excited to work with you!

Mary Ann Krajna, LMT

Contact: maryann@renewinghands.com

Mary Ann graduated from New York Institute of Massage and has been practicing as an LMT since 2018.  After graduating she opened her own practice in her hometown of Buffalo, NY.  To be of service is a passion deep within Mary Ann’s heart, and practicing massage overflows that cup.  She feels blessed to now join the Renewing Hands team and share her soul's work with the Ithaca community.

Mary Ann creates an environment of deep presence and compassion which allows clients to fully relax and let go of tension and blocks.  Not only on a physical level, but on a mental, emotional, and spiritual one as well.

She meets the physical body through intentional intuitive touch.  Using different modalities such as Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, and Trigger Point Therapy.  Mary Ann tunes in, listens to the tissues, and follows their lead.

She connects with the emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies through compassion and knowing of her own personal healing journey.  She brings forth elements of wisdom that stem from shamanism and mediumship.

It is Mary Ann’s intention, with every massage, to create a space of healing and remembrance of our true divine essence.

Wren Connelly, LMT

Wherever you may be on your path, Wren uses deep presence to meet you there. Many of us have experienced an array of challenges, especially in these past two years. It is natural to hold tight to these muddy, confusing experiences and feelings when we come face-to-face with uncertainty, loss, and isolation.

Through Healing Touch, Wren holds a stable and grounded energetic container and the invitation for your body to communicate its needs and surrender to the process of release. Wrens personal vision of the human body and spirit as an intrinsic piece of nature opens a channel for each and every client to realize the Divinity in their humanness and truly come home to themselves.

Combining her practical skills in Massage Therapy with an ability to intuit her clients needs, Wren tailors every massage to follow her clients energetic and specified guidance. Neuromuscular Therapy, Connective Tissue Therapy, Swedish Massage, and Kinesthetic Awareness Through Movement are a few of the modalities you can expect to find beautifully woven together throughout a session with Wren.
